Additionally, Pages Care Farm, located near Elstree, gained recognition in the Most Promising New Business category.

This year's awards, heralding a 1920s theme, were hosted by the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce at Tewinbury Farm Hotel near Welwyn.

Chamber CEO Donna Schultz said: "Massive congratulations to all of our fantastic winners and highly commended businesses, and thank you again to everyone who took part. It really was difficult for our judges to pick between you.

"GeoSmartPro’s response to the seasonal nature of its first product prompted an admirable diversification push, with explorations of new products and new markets including the EU and US.

"The company has clearly demonstrated how to successfully diversify a business."

She continued: "HAB’s commitment to inclusion and diversity is evident from the very top of the organisation, and this embracing of staff from all walks of life is something of which the company can be rightly proud.

"MK Ginder’s support for families clearly goes far beyond the funeral itself and helps people immeasurably during one of the most difficult times in life. This client-centric approach at every step truly warms the heart."

She hailed the awards as "always a special occasion", but added said it was "particularly so this year, as we’re marking the centenary of our Chamber".

"The evening will surely live long in the memory as an amazing celebration of the incredible businesses in our county," the CEO said.

The event, sponsored by Viatris and SA Law, shared ticket receipts with the Hertfordshire Community Foundation, the designated charity partner for the 2024 Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards.
