A Tesla driver has been ordered to pay £1,001 after he admitted speeding in the same road three times in a few weeks.
Maninder Singh, 40, was fined £200 for going 38mph in a 30mph area in Railway Terrace, Kings Langley, at 3.40pm on May 9 last year.
He was also ordered to pay £801 for repeating the offence on May 23 and June 14, during an appearance at Stevenage Magistrates’ Court on Friday (June 28).

Singh, of High Street in London Colney, had pleaded guilty to the May 9 and June 14 offences on November 22, last year, but only changed a not guilty plea to guilty on Friday for the May 23 offence.
A charge of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver when required was dismissed with no evidence offered after he denied the offence.
As well as having to pay £1,001, Singh was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for two months. Each of the three offences saw his driving record endorsed with three points.
In each instance, the 38mph speed was recorded in a Tesla Model Y Series via a GATSO speed camera.
