Magistrates have sent a man to crown court over several charges including driving dangerously and damaging a police car.
Jack Proud appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, June 27, accused of committing multiple offences in South Oxhey the previous day.
The 28-year-old from The Meads, Edgware, was charged with driving a white Vauxhall Insigna dangerously, and without a licence or insurance, in Bowring Green and Prestwick Road.
He was also accused of assaulting two people causing actual bodily harm, damaging a marked police car, and attempted burglary of the Co-op in Delta Gain.
Proud was remanded into custody before he will enter his plea at St Albans Crown Court on July 25.

Also in court:
Watford man Lee Aldridge was also at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court last Thursday charged with possession of a bladed article and driving without due care and attention.
The 33-year-old from Whippendell Road admitted driving his silver Audi A3 in Wellstones, Watford, without due care on June 25, but denied having a three-inch folding pocket knife in Leggatts Wood Avenue on the same day.
Aldridge was released on unconditional bail before he is tried for the knife charge at St Albans Magistrates' Court on October 17.
