Hello, I’m Milo and I’m a Staffie/Labrador cross looking for a new home through the National Animal Welfare Trust’s Home Direct scheme. That means I’m not living at the rescue centre but will have visits with my potential adopter there.
I’m a friendly, playful boy who’s full of energy so I’m looking for a family who’ll have a lot of time to spend with me. I’m only two-years-old and need a lot of work on my training and socialisation so it’s important my new owners can invest time in supporting me and will be home most the time to help me settle in.
I get bored easily which just goes to show how clever I am, so I need a lot of enrichment activities and exercise to keep me focused and stop me becoming stressed. I like meeting dogs a similar size to me when I’m out on walks but would prefer to be the only pet in the home so I’ll have the time and space I need to develop my training and settle in.
I’ve lived with children before and could live with them again, as long as they’re steady on their feet and understand how to play with me nicely. I’m already dreaming of all the zoomies I’ll be doing with my new owners, so it’s important they have a big, secure garden for me to run in.
If you have the time and space for a handsome boy like me, apply for me today! Call 0208 950 0711 (option 2) or email reception@nawt.org.uk
