Watford Junction trains will be disrupted for the rest of the day due to a man “throwing” objects onto a railway line.
There are no Southern trains running between Watford and Clapham Junction and London Overground services will terminate early at Willesden Junction due to the ongoing police incident near the Kensington Olympia in west London.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan police said: “Police were called at 4.21am to reports of a man on a roof in Russell Gardens Mews W14.
“He threw a number of items down onto nearby railway tracks.”
Eyewitness Juliette Smith, of Russell Garden Mews, told the Evening Standard that houses and skylights have been “trashed” by a man throwing objects off a roof since 4am.

She added: “The police are in my house. They were thinking of going through the skylight to get him. He was shouting and throwing stuff.”
National Rail has confirmed the disruption will last all day as all lines are closed to allow officers and the London Fire Service to attend the scene.
Tickets are being accepted on the London Underground and London Northwestern Railway services between Watford Junction and Euston.
