Two teens have been arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft after a discarded moped was recovered.
Herts Police were called after a member of the public found the white moped dumped among bushes off Raymond Close, Abbots Langley, on Wednesday (June 12).
Officers attended and two 17-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of taking a motor vehicle without consent, going equipped for theft, and handling stolen goods.

PCSO Dean Redhead said: “Following a call from an eagle-eyed member of the public a moped has been recovered and arrests made following the incident.

“If it is an emergency or if a crime is in action call 999.”
The teens have been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
