Coaches running between Watford and Brussels are set to return after a break in service.

After relaunching on July 4, FlixBus will again offer the service as a cheaper way to travel to Europe, from just outside Watford Junction.

It was launched for the first time in July 2023 before stopping in January this year.

There will be one coach departing at 12.05pm almost every day, until September, once the route is back in service for the summer. A less regular service is expected to run after September, as summer is the busiest period for holidaymakers seeking to use the coaches.

The journeys will start at Watford Junction and stop at London Stratford, North Greenwich, Dover, Dunkerque, Lille, and Brussels. Each are expected to take around 12 hours to complete the 291-mile journey.

Tickets start at £2.49 for some trips booked in advance. Passengers can bring one carry-on and one check-in piece of luggage each.

The service will be run by Elstree-based business Hearn’s Coaches
