Magistrates have jailed a Watford man over multiple harassment crimes which included threatening to smash someone's windows.
Christopher Roberts, of The Sanctuary in Exchange Road, appeared at Hatfield Magistrates' Court on June 11 over five counts of breaking a restraining order.
The 24-year-old was previously banned from contacting a woman or entering her Watford address after he admitted assaulting her and breaking her mobile phone screen in the town on May 15.
But less than a month later, Roberts called the victim by phone three times on June 8 and 9 asking for money.

He also turned up at her address shouting "I am going come over there and smash your windows" and "can I have £10", according to court documents.
Roberts pleaded guilty to all charges and was jailed for 18 weeks, with a £154 victim surcharge.

A 15-year-old will be tried at Stevenage Magistrates' Court today, June 13, over allegations of racially aggravated abuse in Watford.
The teen from Shephall in Stevenage previously denied abusing a woman in a way which could cause her alarm or distress in the town on November 26, 2022.
