Five men have been arrested this morning (June 12) after police stopped an Audi and a stolen Jaguar within 10 minutes.
Road Policing Unit officers were searching the Bushey area in the early hours over “a separate matter” but leapt into action when they spotted two suspicious vehicles.
After following them for a short time they brought the cars to a stop in Colne Way, near the Dome roundabout, Watford, and discovered that the keyless entry Jaguar had been stolen from outside a home less than 10 minutes earlier.

It was recovered and returned while the Audi was seized for being used in crime. Herts Police have confirmed that the five men who were arrested at 3.35am remain in police custody.
The force is continuing to make enquiries into the theft.
Earlier this year Herts Police's crime prevention lead warned that there have been increasing numbers of vehicle thefts in parts of the county and shared advice.
“If you have a keyless entry vehicle, use a signal blocking fob pouch (Faraday bag) and keep fobs and any spare keys in a metal box when not in use, so that criminals can’t use signal relay devices to unlock and start your vehicle remotely,” she said.
