Hello! My name’s Muffin and I’m a two-year-old female terrier mix on the lookout for a new home. I came into the National Animal Welfare Trust three months ago as a stray so the team don't know anything about my past.
I’m definitely the sort of dog that you hear before you see - I get so excited to be going out on walks that I bark to let everyone know how happy I am! I’m a very sweet girl who loves being fussed and groomed – it’s the best way to form a bond with me.
I can live with older children who’d respect my space and wouldn't try to pick me up - just because I’m little, it doesn't mean I want to be held all of the time! I’m a terrier who has a lot of terrier things to do, so I need to be on the ground!
I can’t live with cats as I find them scary, and I also can't live with other dogs as I’ve been a bit reactive to them here. Hopefully, with some training in my new home, I can learn to behave nicely around other dogs.
I’m not used to being left on my own as I like people so much, so I’ll need someone to be around all of the time who’ll work on building up the time I can be left alone slowly. I’m not very good at walking nicely on my lead at the moment, so some loose lead training is important.
If you have space in your heart and home for a tiny dog with a big personality, then apply for me today! Email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2).
