Policing priorities for the upcoming months have been outlined by the Three Rivers Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT).

The team will focus on a range of issues such as antisocial behaviour, speeding, theft and drug crime, which have been identified through data analysis and public feedback.

Residents can expect to see an increased police presence and targeted enforcement, the force said.

In Abbots Langley the focus is on tackling speed, addressing violence against women and girls, and managing youth-driven antisocial behaviour.

Meanwhile the priority in Rickmansworth is preventing violence against women and girls, handling shoplifting cases and antisocial vehicle use.

South Oxhey officers will focus on reducing acquisitive crime, especially in Oxhey Hall, and tackling speeding in Brookdene Avenue and Prestwick Road.

While these priorities remain the focus, officers will continue to respond to daily activities as usual, Herts Police said.

They are backed by the Local Crime Unit, Operation Scorpion and officers from central units working countywide.

Three Rivers NPT Chief Inspector, Andrew Palfreyman, said: "I’d like to thank everyone who took the time to share their views with us as we set these priorities.

"We’ll be keeping you updated on our work to tackle these areas."
