Police have confirmed that a child was hospitalised in a three-car smash.
Watling Street, Radlett, was closed near the Harper Lane junction on Saturday afternoon and did not reopen until 7.09pm.
Today (June 10), Herts Police said they were called to the road at around 4.54pm after a Vauxhall Corsa, grey Hyundai I10 SE, and red Nissan Micra crashed.

At 5.10pm, the fire service confirmed four crews were en route after a person was trapped and there were “multiple fires on Watling Street”.
“Please be patient whilst we assess the situation,” the message, via the Herts Fire Control X account, added.
Update: The East of England Ambulance Service later confirmed that three ambulances, two officer vehicles, and an air ambulance attended.
A total of five patients, including one child, were taken to Watford General Hospital.
