A proposal to install signage at a planned fast food restaurant is among this week's planning applications in Watford, Three Rivers, Dacorum and Hertsmere.

The Watford Observer reported at the end of last month that McDonald's had submitted an application to convert the former M&Co shop in Rickmansworth High Street.

It has now applied to Three Rivers District Council for advertisement consent for a variety of signs at the proposed new branch, including a white illuminated 'McDonald's' letterset and an illuminated yellow 'Golden Arch' to be applied externally to glazing.
