Herts Police found a knife and suspected drugs on a man who has now been placed in custody.
The force said their Operation Scorpion officers, who largely operate plain-clothed and in unmarked vehicles, were conducting “proactive patrols” after West Watford residents raised drug dealing fears before the 37-year-old was stopped.
The search, in Durban Road today (June 4), revealed he was in possession of what is thought to be class A drugs as well as the weapon.
