Motorists will want to steer clear of M1 and M25 closures if driving late over the next fortnight.

The M1 will be under a lane closure southbound between junctions 5 and 6, near Watford, from 10pm tomorrow until 5am on Wednesday to allow for safety fence repairs.

It will also be part-shut along the same stretch both northbound and southbound — 10pm to 5am between June 10 and June 15.

The southbound closure allows for testing works and delays are likely to be under 10 minutes, but northbound it is for resurfacing and could cause 30-minute delays.

The slip road will also be shut northbound.
