Hertfordshire Police said a silver Toyota Yaris collided with two pedestrians, a six-year-old girl and a boy aged four, at around 4.50pm in Hemming Way on Saturday, June 1.
They were taken to hospital while the driver remained at the scene and helped officers with their enquiries.
Their injuries are deemed to be serious but not life-threatening and they are still in hospital today (June 3), the force said.
