Two were cut from their vehicles following a multi-car crash near Watford.
Emergency services raced to the A41/North Western Avenue where a red Hyundai Ioniq, white SUV and black Mercedes collided at around 12.42pm today (May 30).
A man and woman had to be cut from their vehicles and one person was taken to hospital by ambulance, although it is not clear which person required further care.

The major road is now open again after Herts Police closed it in both directions for over an hour.

The crash was near Watford Costco between the Hartspring Lane and Sandy Lane junctions, and HCC has warned of delays and heavy traffic in all directions.
It is currently unclear how badly those involved were injured. Police and the ambulance service have been contacted for more information. Updates to follow.
