Drivers are set to have to pay more to park their car in some of Watford’s car parks from the middle of next month.
Watford Borough Council has published details of the planned rises at the pay and display car parks it operates at The Avenue, Town Hall, Oxhey Activity Park and Cassiobury Park.
The increases are due to take effect from Monday, June 17.
The details have ben published in the Public Notice Portal, which is used to access all the upcoming and recent information about various restrictions and notices.
The Avenue
No change to operational hours of 7am to midnight for all days and maximum stay of 24 hours.
7am to 5pm:
Up to 1 hour: 80p (current cost) rising to £1.
Up to 2 hours: £1.60 rising to £2.
Up to 3 hours: £2.40 rising to £3.
Up to 4 hours: £3.20 rising to £4.
All day to Midnight: Unchanged at £6.
5pm to Midnight: £2.50 rising to £3.
12 Month Season Ticket: £800 rising to £870.
Town Hall Car Park
No change to operational hours of 7am to midnight for all days and maximum stay of 24 hours.
Permit parking only Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm.
Monday to Friday 4pm to midnight: £2.50 rising to £2.70.
Saturday and Sunday 7am to 5pm:
Up to 1 hour: 80p rising to 90p.
Up to 2 hours: £1.60 rising to £1.80.
Up to 3 hours: £2.40 rising to £2.70.
Up to 4 hours: £3.20 rising to £3.60.
All day to Midnight: £5.50 rising to £6.
Saturday and Sunday 5pm to Midnight: £2.50 rising to £2.70.
Town Hall Visitors Car Park
No change to operational hours of 8am to midnight for all day and maximum stay of two hours.
Monday to Sunday 8am to 5pm:
30 mins – Free.
1 hour: 80p rising to 90p.
2 hours: £1.60 rising to £1.80.
5pm to midnight: £2.50 rising to £2.70.
Oxhey Activity Park
No change to operational hours of 7am to 7pm for all days and maximum stay of four hours.
Up to 1 hour: Free.
Up to 2 hours: £2 rising to £2.20.
Up to 3 hours: £4 rising to £4.40.
Up to 4 hours: £6 rising to £6.60.
Cassiobury Car Park
Operational hours changing from 10am to 6pm to 8am to 10pm for all days. No change to maximum stay of six hours.
Up to 2 hours: Free.
Up to 3 hours: £2 rising to £3.
Up to 4 hours: £3 rising to £4.
Up to 5 hours: £4 rising to £5.
Up to 6 hours: £5 rising to £6.
