Herts Police have arrested a man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a cyclist and van crashed.
The force confirmed that a white Ford Transit and a pedal cycle were involved in the smash in Bovingdon Green, Bovingdon, at around 11am on Friday, May 24.
The cyclist, a man in his 60s, died at the scene and officers arrested a man in his 20s.

Detective Sergeant Ben Heath said: “We are appealing for any witnesses to please come forward.
“Sadly, a man passed away at the scene. Our thoughts are with his family at this very difficult time.

The cyclist’s next of kin have been informed.
The arrest was made at the scene of the crash.
