After suffering a heart attack while in Mexico, Kings Langley Football Club groundskeeper Trevor Dealey has passed away.
Mr Dealey, from Hemel Hempstead, was hospitalised while on holiday on May 11 , which left him in a critical condition and battling sepsis.
The 58-year-old's family flew out to be by his side and the community rallied to raise money for his treatment and then to fund a medical flight home.

However, this afternoon (May 24), his daughter Megan confirmed the sad news.
In a post to Facebook she said: “Our amazing dad passed away yesterday, I can’t even believe I am writing those words it’s been a complete shock and blow for us all and I’m so devastated.
“This has truly been the most traumatic and stressful week of our lives but we’ve been so blown away by the love and support from everyone, thank you.
“I don’t know how I’ll ever get over this. I love you dad and I’ll miss you forever.”
A fundraising day which had been arranged to take place from 2pm on Monday (May 27) will go ahead as planned and proceeds will go towards the expenses incurred by Trevor’s family.

Kings Langley FC chair Darren Eliot said: “Trevor was a hugely popular figure both within Kings Langley FC and amongst the wider local community and the last few days have served to emphasise the amount of love and affection felt towards him and his family.
"Trevor served the club as groundsman for seven years and took great pride in his role, working tirelessly for first team and our many youth teams each and every week.
“No doubt over the years all of us have come to realise how fortunate we have been to have someone like Trevor working on our behalf and it is not an exaggeration to say that his commitment and dedication will be impossible for us to replace.
“Having spent a great deal of time with Trevor’s family, I know how much the community’s generosity and well wishes mean to them all.”
