Financial struggles have forced a Watford charity to close for good at the end of the month.
The National Bobath Cerebral Palsy Centre, based in Regal Way, has supported around 250 people with cerebral palsy each year but today confirmed it will shut.
It will cease operations on Friday, May 31, and offer transition support for its users to help them find alternative support where possible.

A message shared with its users, supporters, and funders said: “It is with deep regret that we announce the closure of the Bobath Centre.
“After careful consideration of our financial situation, we have reached the difficult decision to cease operations.
“Despite our best efforts, ongoing financial challenges have made it impossible for us to sustain our services.”
The charity said a lack of support from NHS England and other statutory agencies forced the decision, which was not taken lightly.
“We understand that this news will be upsetting, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused,” the message, from chair of trustees Bob Walder, added.
“We are immensely grateful for the opportunity to have served our community and for the support we have received along the way.”
