These five Watford motorists have all been sentenced for hitting terrifying speeds on motorways in the past two months.
Speeding at more than 100mph on the motorway sees a worrying number of people in court considering the dangers of such recklessness.

Enprit Salsihu
Enprit Salsihu, of Queens Road, drove a Ford Fiesta at 101mph on the M1 southbound in Barnet on November 7, last year.
The 27-year-old was ordered to pay £1,074 in total for the offence at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on May 8.
Aruna Samani
After driving southbound in a Mercedes on the M1 near Redbourn at 101mph, Aruna Samani, of Fearnley Street, appeared in St Albans Magistrates’ Court.
He was ordered to pay £342 in total on April 30. The 58-year-old had been recorded reaching the speed on May 16, last year.
Stephen James Pickard
Stephen James Pickard, 65, drove at 101mph on the M5 near Clevedon on August 13.
Pickard, of Longcroft, appeared in North Somerset Magistrates’ Court on April 30 and was ordered to pay £258 in total.
Andrei Udrescu
Having been recorded driving at 111mph on the M1 in Barnet on September 18, last year, Andrei Udrescu was ordered to pay £278 in total.
The 41-year-old, of Harwoods Road, appeared in Willesden Magistrates’ Court on April 22.
Joseph Samuel Hill
Joseph Samuel Hill, 34, of Rosemarie Close, Leavesden, had hit 101mph speeds on the M1 southbound near Redbourn on June 13, last year.
He appeared in Stevenage Magistrates’ Court on March 21 and was ordered to pay £1,510 in total.
