Seven people from Watford were in court last week, including a 38-year-old man accused of making 1,100 indecent images of children.
Also on the list are a 23-year-old man charged with being part of a Hampshire county lines operation and a 30-year-old woman who was banned from driving over several speeding offences.

Daniel Soz
Daniel Soz, 29, of Cecil Street, appeared at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on Friday, May 10, over three counts of making indecent photographs of children and having a prohibited image of a child.
Soz pleaded guilty to making a total of 510 incident photos and videos in Watford between January 27, 2009, and April 24, 2023, as well as owning 14 prohibited images.
Forty-two were category A photos, the most serious, as well as 151 category B and 317 category C.
He was released on conditional bail ahead of sentencing at St Albans Crown Court on May 31 and banned from having any unsupervised contact with people under 18.
James Culpeck
James Culpeck, of the YMCA Charter Place, was at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, May 9, for sentencing over harassment without violence, assault causing acute bodily harm and criminal damage valued under £5,000.
The 18-year-old previously admitted all charges over the incident in Abbots Langley on March 6, and was handed a restraining order against the victims.
As part of a community order, he must also complete 80 hours of unpaid work and 20-day rehabilitation activity.
Kevin O’Neill
Kevin O’Neill, of The Roundway, appeared at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, May 9, charged with three counts of making indecent photographs of children and one count of possessing an extreme pornographic image portraying an act of intercourse with an animal.
The 38-year-old is alleged to have made 340 of the most serious category A photographs, 208 category B and 616 category C images of children in Watford between May 16, 2020, and January 11, 2022.
O’Neill was also accused of owning an “extreme pornographic” image which showed someone performing an act of intercourse with a live unknown animal in “an explicit and realistic way”.
Court files show that he indicated a not guilty plea or no plea was entered, and the case was sent for trial preparation at St Albans Crown Court on June 5.
Blake Hosier
Blake Hosier, of The Pelhams, was among six men charged as part of a county lines investigation over crack cocaine and heroin supply.
The 23-year-old faces two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A, being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, and being concerned in the supply of heroin.
The suspected county lines drug line was reportedly operational in Basingstoke between September 2023 and April 2024.

Darren Lane
Darren Lane, of no fixed address, appeared at St Albans Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, May 7, where he was found guilty of possessing a meat cleaver in an alley adjacent to Wellstones and Market Street in the early hours of Sunday, March 18.
The 50-year-old was remanded into custody before he is sentenced for several offences at Stevenage Magistrates’ Court on May 28, including over possession of cannabis and a “weapons attack” in Watford town centre on October 28 last year.
Last year, Lane pleaded guilty at St Albans Magistrates' Court on November 2 to having an axe and possession of cannabis over the incident in St Mary’s Road.
Sheena Sankutty
Sheena Sankutty, of Clifton Road, appeared at Stevenage Magistrates' Court on Friday, May 10, for sentencing over several speeding offences.
The 30-year-old had admitted breaking 30mph limits in Watford and Potters Bar between June 16 and August 5 last year and was disqualified from driving for six months after she received nine points to her licence.
She was also ordered to pay £690 over all three offences, of which there was a £414 fine.

Jagadishwar Rao Kattekola
Jagadishwar Rao Kattekola, of Whippendell Road, was at Carlisle Magistrates' Court on Friday, May 10, charged with drunk driving on the M6 near Carlisle on April 7.
The 27-year-old admitted to being over the legal limit as he had 44 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35, and was handed 10 points to his licence but was not banned from driving..
Kattekola was also ordered to pay a total of £197, of which there was a £80 fine.
