Watford is among the top five most sought-after places to live in the UK in a new study.
By analysing Rightmove property prices over the last year and Google search trends, Fabulous Bingo created a list it says shows the most in-demand towns and cities across the county, last week.
Cambridge emerged as the most popular, closely followed by Oxford and Reading sharing the second-place spot, and then Watford in third.

The study said: “Watford came in third place boasting an average property price of £515,848 and a search volume of 135,000.
“Situated close to London, Watford offers residents easy access to the capital while maintaining an affordable cost of living.”
It also analysed the list by area, with the South East having the most high-ranking locations with 35, followed by London on 33 and the East of England on 17.
Cheltenham, Winchester, St Albans, Guildford, Slough, and Croydon rounded out the top 10.
In the last year, Watford has also been crowned the best place to live and work out of the UK’s 100 biggest settlements in the UK Vitality Index and made the top 15 for the UK overall in a Garrington Property Finders study.
