A warrant has been issued for a Watford man after he failed to appear in court over several offences.
Barry Mahoney, 41, of Whippendell Road, appeared at St Albans Magistrates' Court on Thursday, May 2, to be tried for two counts of assaulting police officers in Watford on August 12, 2023.
He had previously denied the charges on August 14, but pleaded guilty to driving without a licence or insurance, and failing to provide a specimen for analysis on the same occasion.

He was released on conditional bail as the trial was adjourned until Friday, May 3, to tie up with other cases, but a warrant was released for his arrest after he did not appear the next day.
Mahoney was due to be tried after he denied criminal damage valued under £5,000 to a woman’s doormat in Watford on August 15 and 16, 2023.
