A company is eyeing plans to redevelop a Watford site and create a “lifestyle hotel for creatives, entrepreneurs, and visitors”.
&Soul has written to households near 30-40 St Albans Road, where The Quarters is, to let them know about the proposals it is looking to bring forward for the site.
There is limited information available so far, but the team will be holding a community event between 4.30pm and 6.30pm on May 16, at Watford Central Library.

During the meeting, it will be sharing more detail on its emerging scheme and listening to feedback from residents.
&Soul will then launch an “extensive” public consultation.
The letter to residents said: “We are working with the Pump House theatre and the Palace theatre and looking to co-create a new cultural space across two floors which will include theatre and performance rehearsal space, a screening room, artists’ and podcase studios, and a wellness space.
“We envisage this being a new cultural destination for Watford which will interact and partner with existing cultural spaces in the area.”
&Soul, which has a location in Southall set to open soon, has been contacted for more information.
