Deciding on the right school to send your children to can be a very difficult decision to make, with a range of factors to take into account.
One of these factors is taking a look at each establishment's Ofsted rating, to see how they have been rated by the government department.
Schools can be given one of four ratings by Ofsted; outstanding, good, requires improvement and inadequate.
SUGGESTED READING
These ratings are given following Ofsted visits, in which the establishments are analysed by the department's inspectors.
With that in mind, here's every secondary school's rating as of May 2024:
- Watford Grammar School for Girls - Outstanding
- Watford Grammar School for Boys - Outstanding
- Queens' School - Good
- The Grange Academy - Not yet rated
