Herts Police arrested a man on suspicion of drink or drug driving after a car “extensively damaged” grass at the King George Recreation Ground.
A black BMW 840Ci was being driving erratically at the public space in Bushey at 11.10am on Tuesday, April 2, after which the driver exited the vehicle.
Today (May 1), the force confirmed a 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, dangerous driving, and driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs. He has been released on bail while enquiries continue.

PC Natan Segal, who is investigating, said: “I am appealing for anyone with information to please come forward.
“I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the BMW driving in the recreational ground or the surrounding areas. If you have a dash cam fitted, please check it as you may have recorded some crucial footage to assist our investigation.”
