Hello everyone, my name’s Cookie and I’m a 13-year-old boy who’s looking for a new home to call my own.
I came to the National Animal Welfare Trust in March after my previous owner passed away and the people who took me into their home afterwards had other cats that picked on me.
The team here is surprised I haven’t already been snapped up as I’m a super friendly boy who loves to be around people and enjoys being fussed. I’m very loud and chatty so can’t understand why I’m not getting much interest. I love attention so I’ll need a home where there is always someone around as I get lonely on my own.
I can live with children of any age as I have experience in being around small humans! I could also live with cats that are nice and chilled and wouldn't pick on me. Cat-savvy dogs would be okay too but I’d need to be introduced to other cats or dogs very slowly and carefully to make sure we get on.
I’m used to having outdoor access via a cat flap, so I’ll need one in my new home as I really enjoy having some freedom. I’ve lived near busy roads so I could do this again as I have road sense.
If you’d like to add a loving furry family member to your home, then apply for me today! Email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 020 8950 0177 (option 2) so we can meet.
