Herts Police have revealed why a police helicopter was spotted over Chorleywood yesterday.
The force took to social media to explain what was going on after an increased police presence was seen in the village.
It was due to officers searching the area for a teenager who had been reported missing, their post said. He has now been found and is with officers.

Hertfordshire Police also said on social media that on Friday, April 26, they had received several calls over a loose horse on the side of Bushey Lane, Bushey.
Residents raised their concerns for the animal in the comments, stating it was kicking its back legs and that the RSPCA should be called.
The force however confirmed that the horse is tethered up and “grazing happily”.
