Herts Police said that, between 3am and 4am on Saturday morning (April 20), the bonnets and windscreens of two marked police vehicles and one unmarked police vehicle were damaged at Abbots Langley Police Station. The door handles were also tampered with.
The force identified and arrested the suspect on the same day. They were subsequently charged in connection with the damage.
Sergeant Jon Brown said: “Unfortunately, this criminal damage has taken three police vehicles off the road until they are repaired.
“Fortunately, we have still been able to continue our proactive patrols in the area.”
