Hi there! My name’s Ella and I’m a lovely six-month-old crossbreed pup hoping to start a new life with a wonderful family to call my own! I came to the National Animal Welfare Trust from the pound so the team here doesn’t know my history.
I’m a typical bouncy, excitable puppy who needs lots of kind, reward-based training in things such as loose-lead walking, keeping all four paws on the floor and polite greeting.
I have shown some reactivity to other dogs and, as a stray, the team aren't sure what my previous interactions with other dogs were like. I need lots of training in becoming neutral and ignoring other dogs instead of reacting to them.
The good news is I love being around people and food, so I’ll be easy to train if someone is willing to put the work in.
I can live with older children who are experienced around bouncy young dogs and could help with my training. Due to my behaviour towards other dogs, I can't live with them or cats.
As a puppy I’m not used to being left on my own so I’ll need someone to be around all the time to help to train me in being left alone. This would also help with my toilet training and all of the other things I need to learn as consistency and repetition are key to success.
If you’re looking for a lively, bouncy girl in need of love, then apply for me today! Email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0711 (option 2).
