A three-bedroom Watford house is set to go on the market with a £275,000 guide price – but it needs some work.
The freehold, semi-detached property at 32 Oulton Way, Carpenders Park, “is in need of some modernisation”, auction house Bond Wolfe admits.
However, it highlights that is a reason for the guide price which is “sure to attract attention” at a May 16 auction.
According to Rightmove, the average price of a semi-detached property in Carpenders Park over the last year was £569,417.

Bond Wolfe chief executive Gurpreet Bassi said: “Given its location and easy access both to London and the nearby M1 and M25 motorways, plus London Heathrow Airport, you can see the attraction and potential of this home.
“With a bit of work this could quickly be turned into a first or family home and we expect strong interest when it comes to auction.”
The Oulton Way home has its own driveway, gardens, and garage. The ground floor features a hall, reception room, and kitchen while the upstairs has three bedrooms and a bathroom.
It has gas-fired central heating and double glazing.
