Works by utility companies are set to cause delays to motorists using busy roads across the Watford area over the next few weeks.
Colonial Way, Clarendon Road and Radlett Road are among the routes where temporary traffic lights will be in use while the works are taking place.
The following information is sourced from the One.Network website and is a selection of the works due to take place this month.
- Two-way traffic lights will be in use in Colonial Way, Watford, from Saturday to Thursday, April 11 for works by Affinity Water.
- Delays are likely in Tibbs Hill Road, Abbots Langley, from Saturday to April 19 while Leep Electricity Networks install a new service connection. The work is due to take place between the junctions with Love Lane and Summerhouse Way where multi-way traffic lights will be in use.
- Drivers will be unable to access Ivinghoe Close, Watford, from 9.30am to 4pm, Sunday to Tuesday while micro-surfacing works are carried out. These are due to take place from The Pelhams to the end of Ivinghoe Close.
- A section of High Street, Watford, will be closed overnight from Wednesday to April 19 for a programme of junction and pavement improvements, and drainage works. The road will be shut from the junction with Water Lane to King Street from 10pm to 5am each night.
- Delays are likely in Clarendon Road, Watford, while Affinity Water are carrying out works from Thursday, April 11 to Friday, April 12. Two-way traffic lights will be in use between the junctions with A411 Beechen Grove and Gartlet Road.
- College Road, Leavesden, is set to be shut to motorists on April 13 and April 14 to allow Leep Electricity Networks to install a new service connection, subject to a licence being granted.
- Motorists are likely to experience delays in Balmoral Road, Watford, when Eclipse Power Networks are carrying out works from April 15 to April 19. The works are due to take place between 8am and 6pm each day near to the junction with Knutsford Avenue. Multi-way traffic lights will be in use.
- Works by Eclipse Power Networks are likely to cause delays in Radlett Road, Watford, from April 17 to April 18. Multi-way traffic lights will be in use close to the junction with Balmoral Road.
