A 49-year-old man has been arrested over 15 shoplifting offences in South Oxhey.
The suspect from Harrow remains in custody after his arrest yesterday, April 3, in connection with multiple thefts over several months.
Among the alleged offences were stealing alcohol, baby milk, soft drinks and food from the Tesco Express petrol garage in Prestwick Road on two occasions last August.
The 49-year-old is also thought to have targeted the service station again on February 10, and stolen alcohol from the Co-op in The Parade on March 11 and 17.

PC Marcus Zost of the South Oxhey Neighbourhood Policing Team said, "This is a fantastic piece of teamwork across the Community Safety Partnership and shows the dedication everyone has to bringing offenders to justice.
“This type of crime may be seen as low level to most, however it can be associated with other criminality like drug supply, theft from a motor vehicle and other theft offences."
He added that the area had seen a reduction in vehicle and personal crime due to proactive and investigative work by officers.
