A Watford teen has changed his plea to guilty after a nightclub attack and threats with a broken bottle.
Rhys Robinson, of Belgrave Avenue, had pleaded not guilty to threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place and assault by beating during a previous court appearance on December 20.
However, on March 25, the 18-year-old changed his plea for both charges during a further appearance in High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court.

Robinson, who was 17 years old at the time of the offences, had a broken bottle in Winkers Nightclub, Buckinghamshire, and used it to threaten a man in a way that would cause a reasonable person to think that there was an immediate risk of physical harm.
On the same day at the club, March 4, 2023, he also assaulted the same individual by beating him.
The teenager is next set to appear in High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on May 2 for sentencing.
