Trains from Watford Junction have been “severely delayed” after a signal fault earlier this morning.
Just hours after National Rail confirmed that disruption following a fault with the signalling system at London Euston yesterday (April 2) had ended, at 1.26am today, it confirmed that there was a similar problem between Watford Junction and Milton Keynes.
Trains leaving Watford Junction have been cancelled or delayed since around 6.13am.

Just before 8am, it was expected that the disruption could last until the end of the day but engineers were able to fix the problem and get lines running again by 9am.
A National Rail spokesperson said: “Lines have reopened following a fault with the signalling system between Milton Keynes Central and Watford Junction.
“Trains running between these stations may still be cancelled, severely delayed by up to 80 minutes or revised.
