Watford commuters face rail chaos as “major disruption” is expected for the rest of the day.
A signal fault at London Euston has caused some lines to and from the station to become blocked, meaning services will be cancelled, severely delayed - by up to 100 minutes - or revised.
National Rail first reported the fault at 11.28am today (March 2) with delays expected until 1pm, but the end time was continually pushed back.

The rail body has now admitted the disruption will last for the rest of the day, as its website shows that the majority of trains from London to Watford have already been cancelled throughout the afternoon and into the evening.
The Avanti West Coast service to Birmingham New Street, London Overground to Watford Junction and London Northwestern Railway line from London to Tring are all affected by the issue.

Tickets are being accepted on other services such as the Metropolitan line to the Watford tube and Avanti West Coast train from Euston to Crewe via Watford Junction.
Stagecoach buses will run between Northampton and Watford Junction via Milton Keynes Central, and Overground trains will be revised to run between Kilburn High Road and Watford Junction only.
