Two sisters have denied in court carrying out an alleged "acid attack" on a Watford roofer.
Angelina O’Driscoll, 34, of Newton Close, Harrow, and Victoria O’Driscoll, 31, of Woodcock Hill, Harrow, appeared at Hatfield Remand Court today.
John Chapman, 36, reported being approached by two people and having what was believed to be a corrosive substance thrown over him as he sat in a van in Hilfield Lane, Aldenham, on March 18.
He remains in hospital where he is receiving treatment for life-changing injuries.
The pair appeared in court charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent.
They pleaded not guilty and have been released on bail before they next appear at St Albans Crown Court on April 25.
