An Abbots Langley man has appeared in court charged in connection with a serious attack involving a bladed article and making threats to kill.
Suhail Ismaeel Khalid, 23, of School Mead, Abbots Langley, appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, March 23.
A man in his twenties, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, following an incident in Watford on Wednesday, March 20.
Mr Khalid was charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, making threats to kill and possessing a bladed article in a public place.
He was remanded to custody while the case was sent to St Albans Crown Court where he will enter a plea on April 23.

Also in court:
Bushey man Kevin Ndirangu, of Richfield Road, was remanded in custody ahead of his appearance at Oxford Crown Court on April 19 over two serious attacks.
The 34-year-old is accused of wounding a woman with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and assaulting a man by beating him in Oxford on March 21.
He also faces two charges of using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with the intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence on the same day.
Mr Ndirangu previously appeared at Oxford Magistrates' Court on March 22, before his case was sent to the crown court for a plea hearing.
