A 300-year-old grade II listed building in Watford could soon be back in use as it has gone on the market.
Frogmore House, in Lower High Street, underwent a £2 million refurbishment in 2020 before it was put up for sale with a £950,000 guide price in 2023.
Following the auction, the new owners have today (March 26) put it on the market for lease via estate agent Perry Holt with a £10,000 rent per month.

The brochure does not specify a set use for the building once it is rented out and it is marketed separately as both a “leisure facility” and an “office” via Rightmove.
It was previously office space but apparently “may be suitable for alternative uses under Class E”.
Use Class E is a broad category and also includes a wide variety of commercial uses including as offices, many types of shops, cafes, creches, and GP offices to name just a few.
The £2 million renovation was paid for by a developer as a condition Watford Borough Council attached to permission for a nearby development which included a Lidl and 92 flats.
The property, first built in 1716, has a large garden with gated parking and office space over three floors.
Watford mayor Peter Taylor previously described it as “a really important part of our town’s history” and was recognised at the Georgian Group’s Architectural Awards after its refurbishment.
