A video has captured the moment thieves stole an oven from outside a disabled man’s home in Watford.
Gavin Rickett, 54, had moved the appliance outside his front door in Tolpits Lane while his kitchen was being renovated.
Around two weeks ago, two people approached Gavin, who has cerebral palsy and is in a wheelchair, to ask if they could take it for scrap metal and he refused.
But at around 8am on Monday, March 25, his Ring doorbell camera captured who he claims were the same pair pull up in a van before making off with the cooker.

Gavin said the incident has been reported to police, adding: “They had no right. I said no, my brother said no, and they still took it.”
In the video, a man in a high-vis jacket and a woman wearing red trousers and a black jacket approach the house, then carry the oven to the back of a waiting white van.
Police confirmed they are investigating and asked for anyone with information to contact them on 101, quoting crime reference 41/24189/24.
