Watford High Street will be the subject of a new exhibition taking place in the town.
'Back in time with Watford High Street' will offer visitors a trip into the history of the town's main shopping street.
This engaging presentation, made possible by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, delves into the deep roots and storied history of the high street and is part of Watford Museum on Tour.
Three significant pieces from the museum's collection will be brought into focus, each bearing a compelling narrative that's rooted in the heart of the town's shops.
There will be a pick and mix stall handing out free activity packs brimming with fun and educational items.
In honour of the High Street's history as a Cattle Market, attendees can craft their own animal puppets.
Those with an inventive streak can design a Scammel Truck model, paying homage to the commercial vehicles that once graced the hustle and bustle of the High Street.
Additionally, a map showcasing Watford's rich and diverse heritage will be distributed.
This will aid explorers in their journey through time and culture, illuminating the unique landmarks, stories, and hidden gems that define the charm of Watford.
This latest expansion of Watford Museum on Tour will be hosted at atria Watford on Thursday, April 11, and Friday, April 12.
The event promises to appeal to history enthusiasts, curious residents, and families looking for a fun day out, ensuring something for everyone to engage with and enjoy.

Sponsorship received from the National Lottery Heritage Fund is thanks to the contributions of National Lottery players worldwide.
