Hertfordshire police have responded to rumours of anti-social behaviour on Tolpits Lane in Watford.
Residents had taken to social media this week to report that people had been seen with flashlights in a nearby field, throwing objects at people travelling past.
Gagan Mohindra, MP for South West Hertfordshire, said he had "been made aware that there might be some issues for people walking, riding or driving down Tolpits Lane near the bridge", and asked people who had "been affected by an incident" to email him.
