A company has applied for an alcohol and music licence for when a taste of the Caribbean comes to Watford this summer, while an events management firm wants to keep more goods vehicles at its operating centre.
S & A Entertainment Ltd has applied for the licence for a food and drinks festival to be held in Cassiobury Park in June.

Cassiobury Park – alcohol and music licence
An entertainments company has applied for a premises licence for food and drinks festival in Cassiobury Park.
S & A Entertainment Ltd is applying for permission to sell alcohol and play live and recorded music at the Taste of the Caribbean Foods and Drinks Festival on Saturday, June 29 and thereafter “on one consecutive Saturday and Sunday between May and September each year”, with dates to be confirmed with Watford Borough Council on a yearly basis.
The times of the licensable activities will be from 10am to 8pm.

A “celebration of different cultures and amazing cuisines”, Cassiobury Park is one of several locations where the food and drinks festival is taking place from June to September and its website says it aims to “introduce people of all backgrounds, ages, races and religions to some of the most amazing food and drink in the world”.

Hatters Lane – goods vehicle licence
An events management company is applying to change its existing licence to keep more goods vehicles at its operating centre.
Combined Services Provider of Unit 1, Abloy House, Hatters Lane, Croxley Park, Watford WD18 8AJ wants to keep an extra three goods vehicles at the address.
Any owners or occupiers of land near to the premises wishing to make representations should do so in writing to the Traffic Commissioner at Hillcrest House, 386 Harehills Lane, Leeds, LS9 6NF.
Estate of Helen Audrey Allan
Anyone having a claim against or an interest in the estate of Helen Audrey Allan, late of River Court Care Home, Explorer Drive, Watford, WD18 6TQ, who died on December 10, 2023, should send their details to Claire Sharp c/o Debenhams Ottaway LLP, Ivy House, 107 St Peters Street, St Albans, AL1 3EW.
This should be done by May 9, 2024 quoting reference AMS/38799-4.
Estate of Eileen Beryl Lodge
Anyone having a claim against or an interest in the estate of Eileen Beryl Lodge, late of 14 Copsewood Road, Watford, WD24 5DZ, who died on February 6, 2024 should send their details to Crayback Law LLP, 301 High Road, Benfleet, Essex SS7 5HA.
This should be done on or before May 16, 2024.
