Firefighters treated two people who inhaled smoke during a fire opposite a pub.
Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Tower Hill, Chipperfield, at 10.46am today (March 19).
A outbuilding opposite The Boot pub had caught light and five fire engines were sent to the scene in response, arriving to find smoke billowing from the roof.

A fire service spokesperson said: “Firefighters in breathing apparatus entered the building and located a fire in the roof space.
“Crews tackled the fire from inside and outside the building and it was extinguished by 12.02pm.”
Firefighters then remained at the scene to damp it down and investigate the cause.
They also carried out checks on two people who had inhaled smoke before the service arrived.
At around 4pm, Hertfordshire County Council confirmed that Herts Fire and Rescue believe the fire started accidentally.
Police were also called out to assist with traffic control and let vehicles through while fire engines took up most of the road.
