Watford drivers have been warned of three closures on the M25 and M1 this weekend and early next week.
The M1 will shut northbound between junction 5 and 6 from 11pm on Friday, March 22, until 5am. Slight delays under 10 minutes are expected as the lanes will close for structural inspections.
Drivers have also been warned that a section of the M25 is set to close from 10pm Saturday, March 23, to 6am Sunday to allow a 350-tonne power station part to be transported 79 miles from the Port of Tilbury in Essex to Millbrook in Bedfordshire.
Moderate delays between 10 and 30 minutes are expected as the carriageway and slip roads are affected anticlockwise between junction 22 and 19, with diversions in place.
The 50m-long (164ft) load’s previous planned journey on March 9 was cancelled hours beforehand due to an "unforeseen concern regarding the transportation trailer".

Drivers are also being urged to avoid the M1 overnight on Monday, March 25.
It will shut northbound between junction 5 to junction 6 from 10pm until 5am on Tuesday.
The lane closure is due to urgent electrical works with slight delays under 10 minutes.
