Kids in Watford and the surrounding area had a brilliant time dressing up as their favourite characters to celebrate World Book Day – and you can see the costumes some of them wore to school on this page.

Thanks to the efforts of staff at ten schools in our area, you can enjoy the second of two galleries of children enjoying the annual celebration of reading and books that featured in our 16-page World Book Day picture special published with this week’s newspaper.
