Closure timings for two Watford town centre roads have been confirmed, including a 33-hour full closure.
Works at the junction of Water Lane and High Street began on Monday (March 11) and are set to last until April 19, but they will not require the carriageway to shut for the full duration.
The junction will be out-of-use from 8pm to 5am each night until April 19, subject to weather and construction conditions, while a closure also including the nearby section of Lower High Street will be in place overnight on April 10, 11, 15, and 19.

Water Lane and Lower High Street will only be closed outside of these hours during a 33-hour period between 8pm on Saturday April 13 and 5am on Monday April 15.
While work is underway, there will be no through-route along Water Lane onto High Street.
When just Water Lane is closed overnight, bus routes 142, 258, 306, 321, 328, and 602 will use Exchange Road to get to Lower High Street. The 635 service will use Exchange Road to serve the ring road and will not serve the town centre
When Lower High Street is also closed, services 142, 258, 306, 321, 328, 602, and 635 will use Exchange Road to serve the ring road stops and will not serve the stops in the town.
Walking and cycling access will be maintained, although cyclists may need to dismount.
The junction is being rearranged to encourage slower vehicle speeds and improve the visibility of people cycling downhill in the High Street.
Most drivers turning right into the one-way Lower High Street apparently ignore the stop line and do not look right because they do not realise that, although there is no oncoming traffic, they are moving through a cycle lane with bikes coming down the hill towards them.
Cyclists' group Spokes said multiple cyclists have been hit at the junction.
As part of the work the junction will be reduced to one lane, a raised table will be constructed at the junction, the pavement on the north side will be widened, and stop signs will be added.
