A Watford man has been ordered to pay £2,305 after being found guilty of assaulting a woman.
Marin Vlad, of Vicarage Road, attacked his victim in Watford High Street on November 21, 2021.
He denied the offence during a St Albans Magistrates' Court appearance in 2022 but was found guilty on March 9, 2023.

The 49-year-old dodged a further appearance at the court on March 9, 2023, and was featured in a wanted appeal shared by the Watford Observer.
Vlad was back in court on December 22 and finally sentenced for assault by beating and failing to surrender to court yesterday (March 7).
He was fined £1,100 alongside being ordered to pay a £480 victim services surcharge and £625 in Crown Prosecution Service costs for the assault.
The smaller charge, which he pleaded guilty to, related to a scheduled court appearance on July 7, 2022, and he was fined £100 for it.
Another charge of failing to surrender to court bail at the appointed time for March 9 the next year was withdrawn at a previous hearing.
